Focus and Scope

"Argumentos" is an academic social science journal that publishes research on Peru and Latin America. The journal welcomes original works in various fields of the social sciences, particularly those associated with the institutional life of the IEP: anthropology, archaeology, political science, economics, education, history, and sociology.

It also includes a section for reviews and thesis summaries.

The journal is free and open access: it charges no fees to authors or users. It is peer-reviewed, uses a double-blind peer-review process, and is published semiannually.
