Open access and copyright policies
Argumentos provides immediate open access to all its content. The Instituto de Estudios Peruanos (IEP), the journal’s publisher, adheres to the definition of open access established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
In line with these principles, the journal promotes the free availability of scholarly work and the global exchange of knowledge. All content is published under a Creative Commons CC BY license, which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original source is properly cited.
Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, as well as to use them for any lawful purpose, including indexing, data mining, and reuse in digital environments.
Authors who publish in Argumentos retain the copyright of their work without restrictions. At the same time, they grant the journal the right of first publication.
The journal does not charge any submission or article processing fees.
