Abstract

The internal armed conflict has left a deep scar on our national history, and it is through literature that we can gain an intimate insight into those turbulent years. Within a vast repertoire of novels published in the present century, a recent work stands out: Danza entre cenizas (Dance among the Ashes, 2022, EditorialApogeo) by Fabiola Pinel. This novel becomes a window into the past, transporting us back to those years and appealing to the situations experienced by the book's protagonists, Clara and Ñantika.
