Política de secciones

Section Policy

The journal "Argumentos" seeks to promote quality, original, and emerging research in the social sciences among the various fields of knowledge production through its sections:

  1. Academic Articles: Original academic manuscripts on research topics spanning different branches of the social sciences will be submitted. They must be the result of current studies or with a historical perspective that enrich the analysis of classical or contemporary theories.

This section will be subject to two double-blind peer-reviewed academic reviews by the journal's panel of referees, which is composed of prestigious academics from national and international institutions. In the event of conflicting results, the review will be submitted for a third review. The results of the reviews are final.

  1. Reviews: Reviews of recently published books whose content primarily emphasizes reflections on topics in the social sciences will be submitted.

This section is not peer-reviewed, but rather by the Editorial Board. 3. Thesis: Summaries of theses previously successfully defended at an educational institution must be submitted.

This section is not peer-reviewed, but rather reviewed by the Editorial Board.
